I will approach Sunday and the match with trepidation.
When High Point was in Madison in 2018 along with Texas, UW knocked off #2 Texas on Saturday night, and then the schedule for Sunday was Texas and High Point at 1 PM, and UW vs High Point that night. Apparently the defeat of Texas was too much for me; Sunday morning, I went out for a run, planning to head for the Field House for the afternoon. Instead, after cutting the run short because I just didn't feel right, I proceeded to have a "small" heart attack, and spent the rest of the day and a couple more in UW hospital.
I've been fine ever since - knock on wood - though right now I'm not running due to a foot problem. The plan is to bike back and forth to the Field House on Sunday....
... cautiously.
:-)

A heart attack? Holy balls. Glad you’re okay. Thanks. When you have a heart attack, you get three heart doctors: a cardiologist, who worries about the plumbing; an electro-cardiologist, who worries about the wiring; and a preventative cardiologist, who tries to figure out how to prevent another one from happening. So I sat with the preventative, and she asked questions and listened to my story for a half-hour, etc. And at the end, she says the primary reason I had a heart attack is that I'm a male over 50 years old. Period, full stop. She says that there are cardiologists in the world who think that doing all the testing etc to figure out which over-50 males need to be taking statins to reduce cholesterol plaque buildup is a waste of time and puts people in danger. That on your 50th birthday, you should get a card from your doctor with a prescription for statins enclosed. An LDL above 75, and you are accumulating plaque in your coronary arteries; LDL below 75 and you are reversing the build-up. Yes you can affect that with diet - and I certainly have - but statins do a great job it and quick quickly. So all you males over 50 out there, talk to you doctor SOON about your LDL levels and statins.

I'm looking forward to this match. Stress-free quality volleyball.
And the Marquette fans won't be jammed into that teeny tiny section that was left for them after the remodel.

I think it's 100 LDL that you want to be below, not 75.
Anyway...

Was watching out of the corner of my eye thinking this was over after the 2ndd, and what do you know, HP came back and are now ahead in the 3rd.
Sounds like they have a very boisterous support group there.

22-17. Can HP pull out a set win?

The answer is yes. 25-19, I think.
Boy Marquette is out of sorts at the net. HP started blocking and the Golden Eagles became ultra tentative and error prone.
