I saw enough improvement in Wisconsin's play and organization last weekend against an incredibly scrappy and Marquette squad that I'm willing to back them here. I think we'll see more wrinkles to the 6-2. I think there is still a strong likelihood of a down period when things go askew for a bit, so I'm going 3-1.

UK looked great this past weekend. Every hitter looked in sync and hopefully Lamb is healed by Friday. Goetzinger has looked great thus far and Rutherford and Rollins are both stars. Still would like to see Tealer get more swings but that will come with better passing. If UK can control the backcourt and first contact, I take the Cats in 4.

im very interested to see how Kentuckys OHs respond to the big right side block of Wisconsin. Rutherford will need to be clicking on the D ball to open things up for goetzinger in the middle and give the OHs some space from Wisconsins MBs when Grome is front row. I really have no idea how this match is gonna play out

At least Kentucky has a sensible court. That will make this easier to watch.
That's right, after the first week I now check to the courts of all hosts to prepare myself for possible trauma.

Guess I hadn't followed off-season enough to know that Adanna transferred...again. Hope she finds what she's looking for in KY, and she finds the block a good amount against us.

Her passing is still terrible lmao some things just won't change though and at this point I'd think it's just a matter of not letting it affect other parts of her game that she's executing well. |

That was my take as well. Really nice attacking, dicey passing. Interested to see how she looks against the badger block. It's been a bit erratic. Smrek has been getting tooled a lot. Also, GG started playing much better this weekend. She seems to be taking control of the BR. Interested to see if the defense as a whole improves. Foti et al showed they can still be tipped at times. |
