I love Oldenburg, and she’s an amazing coach and has done a great job here. I’m sure she wants to win more than any of us and is well aware of the OH problem, was there really no options in the transfer portal at all to bring in? This isn’t a shot at her, I’m genuinely curious been telling y'all she tried |

I will say this. I like Ohio State, but without better pins, they may have to settle for another nice Sweet Sixteen unless they earn a higher seed. Not necessarily top 4, but something that allows them to face one of the lesser Sweet Sixteen opponents. They depend on matchups as much as any team in the country, IMO.

I'm amazed that they're beating GT in this match with just average OHs and stretches of awful passing. |

Okay gt has some of the ugliest plays of any top 25 teams. They have had like 3 balls they attempted to play over the net today that didn’t even reach the net

Yeah? Did you go cheap in your installation? How recently did you do it? It's tough to do a multi million renovation on a facility that holds 1000 people. I'd bet that's not a state of the art installation in there. They’ve got huge duct work vents already running across the whole top of the gym….adding AC to a 100 year old farmhouse is never cheap. Cheap would have been a handful of window ACs.. That's my point, though. You didn't go cheap. I'm well aware of the costs of retrofitting an A/C system in a building not designed for it. Not in a 100 year old farmhouse but certainly in homes built in the 30s through 50s. For whatever reason installing a brand new A/C in a building not designed for it, that almost certainly has terrible insulation, that only holds 1000 people, hasn't been at the top of GT's priority list, and probably won't be in the future. But maybe after the match they make an announcement that makes me a liar. My guess is that people get to eat cake. |
