a good chunk of these players made it into the final 4 not so long ago and looked really, really good...this is almost sad to watch UW's success was in large part because they could cover weaknesses with a crazy good OOS game (in addition to their serve/block game). But they've gone from 2 great OOS options down to 1. It'll be interesting to see if a second pin can step up and get comfortable to fill the production gap from Drechsel's loss. If not, the floor defense will continue to get exposed. EMP also doesn't look 100%. Or maybe she's pressing/stressed more only having one outlet. |

WA barely sneaks out set 4, 25-22. Neither Crenshaw nor Endsley effective in the OH2 spot today. Cal poly outblocking and outdigging the Huskies. Set 5 Huskies, gotta get this.

Phew..was not confident WA would win this one, but they played strong in the 5th, ending on an Endsley serving run. 15-7. Now hopefully they wake up and play a better level next weekend.
