Anyway, I was just talking about the logo. If they do this again, they should create a logo that doesn't look like someone put it together over their lunch break. What is this for? To honor a building?  Herb Kohl? Instead, how about a volleyball player somewhere involved? |

Madison has hosted 2 Final 4's in my time here, but the rules have changed. My understanding is that there arent enough hotels downtown for the current requirements. Milwaukee would be great, tons of entertainment, hotel and convention options within a few blocks of Fiserv. Maybe next years rumored Marquette-Badger match there is a dress rehearsal for a bid. Fiserv doesnt really hold any more than Kohl, so I'm not sure they can go for an attendance record, but they could try to pack it.

I was lighting a candle last night, and she still hit below .200 while everyone else was super efficient against FSU. She’s just determined to not be that girl. Beason .400 (13K) Markova. 400 (12K) Kelley .429 Essix .467 and then you have Victoria at a whopping .154 It is frustrating because a few of her kills last night were absolute lasers. I just don’t think she’s comfortable with the pace Stucky puts on the ball. Not that Markova is either, but she’s tall and can make up for less-than-stellar timing. Hopefully Sofia evens out a bit because I really do think she has a ton of potential. |

Monona Terrace is just about exactly one mile away. Monona Terrace is way too small. The biggest convention they can hold is maybe 2400 and their biggest "convention" was Ironman which isn't really a convention at all, it's a big registration site with really long running ramps and parking lots. The distance away is not the issue to the Terrace, it's the size. I think the Dane County expo is big enough, but then it's not that close to the Kohl Center. It's possible there might be enough hotel rooms now. |
