I'll say this, I'm pretty sure the problem with the floor and the constant wiping up was that it was humid today - not crazy humid, but humid - and the ice is in for hockey season. I think the ice under the court was causing condensation making the floor start to get wet. Izzy slipped pretty badly early on, and in that 4th set, Florida players were slipping enough I thought Wise might pull them off the floor altogether. If they ever do this again, you gotta do something about taking down the humidity, or insulate the floor better. There was no ice under the court. I sat nearly courtside and I could see concrete inside the dasherboards. I don't know what you all were seeing with GG and being terrible. Maybe go watch again and wonder why on several decent passes (by whomever) the Badgers hit it out so many times. Big blockers, depth perception, I dunno, but go watch set 1 again especially. .086 hitting through two sets. Also, when you get destroyed for 2.5 sets, it is a group effort, so not sure why anyone is pointing fingers. Plus FL showed some great d. Literally everyone but you thinks she was terrible. I want the pass stats because she passed well below a 2.

Franklin - first set: two kills, two errors second set: two kills, three errors third set: two kills, two errors fourth set: zero kills, zero errors fifth set: four kills, zero errors Demps (since you are fixated on her) - first set: one kill, zero errors second set: one kill, one error third set: zero kills, zero errors fourth set: two kills, one error fifth set: zero kills, zero errors Now do the hitting percentages and something stats do not always measure unless Demps would get comparable playing time for 6 rotations is effect on fellow backrow mates. Hammill whiffs on many attacks hit in her area and Gülce for almost 3 sets was putting some major pressure on setters. Demps stabilizes the backrow. Demps stabilizes the back row? She isn't and never was a passer. 🙄

How many times will she have to come in and make a huge difference in game outcome for people to start giving her adequate respect. 🤔

Maybe. Just maybe. The biggest home crowd ever might have made them press.

The Badgers didn't give themselves a decent chance to win for the longest time in tonights match. Unforced hitting error after error. And there were plenty of plays that Florida didn't have a good block formed and we just would hit long, hit long, hit out, rinse repeat... The Badgers are and have been overated. Some players are actually regressing. Once again a good share of our errors were unforced. Florida is a good team bit nowhere near Texas, Ohio State and so forth. Ok, so you say GG was terrible, but then go on to rant about the unforced errors. It was the unforced errors that lost them this match. Go watch set 1. It was ridiculous. Stop pointing fingers at one person. I swear, people see one shanked SR and then it's like that gets replayed over and over. And, let's play along for just one minute.... GG was playing in front of a huge crowd of 16,833 people with huge expectations. This was a group effort. Except for Hart. She had a good match. If college had international rules, GG would have been benched. She was that bad. I have never seen a libero pass that poorly for a top 25 team. While errors were certainly a big reason we lost, it's not black and white nor are those two (and other) things not related. Setting was affected by passes which affected hitting. What's more, some of the setting choices were, at best, questionable. Why did they choose not to set Shmek in the middle but go to her on the right? Why did they set middle on perfect balls setting a 1 with the middle camping rather than setting tempo to the pin and isolating the hitter? That said, as much as GG concerned me, she will grow. What was more concerning was the fact that a third year setter was so bad. MJ needs to see the bench.

Can someone tell me how I might be able to re-watch this? I ‘think’ BTN+ has replays of BTN games. Or when someone finds a YouTube copy eventually.

G.G. settled down and improved her performance to a decent level maybe last 40% of match. But 'one shanked pass',? That is laughable. Her first contacts put our passing gin scramble mode for a good chunk of the first 3 sets. She made some real athletic digs as the Badgers made a game of it but in no way should someone come away from last nights game and characterize G.G.'s overall performance as anything other than very dissapointing.

The match sucked. The only positive was Crawfords new gorgeous black hair.

I’d like to see the passing numbers also. I recall many trashing Dodge maybe due to some untimely overpasses (not to discount those) but she was referred to as the worst passer when scoring grades consistently showed she was the best.

BTN-Plus will always post a replay of the matches they televise on regular BTN. It usually takes 24 hours or so before it shows up - it's not there right now. So you may not see it there until Sunday AM.
