For the series history between Tulane and LSU, that number is off by quite a bit. The Tulane media guide lists the series at 23-45. The LSU record book has it at 21-46. I didn't go through either's yearly results to try and find the discrepancy.

That is what they have noted. tulanegreenwave.com/sports/womens-volleyball/opponent-history/louisiana-state-university/69

FYI: Most school websites that have that feature on their schedule page will give incorrect series histories. They only pull from datasets that are part of the online record. That means maybe just the last two decades at most and neglects the '70s '80s and '90s. Never trust that feature is my advice. Of course in this case, the schools have differing accounts on their media guide so....

Terrible first set by OSU, losing it 18-25 to LSU. They struggled in serve receive and had more hitting errors than kills. Not sure they could play any worse. If they clean up some things, they should be right in this.

I'm guessing the stats are messed up. It says LSU hit negative, but won the first set 25-18?

OSU lead the whole set until the very end and of course, a few errors by OSU allowed LSU to steal the set 27-25.

LSU beat OSU 3-0. Last two sets were tight. Oregon state just too inconsistent for LSU. LSU lead by Dotson with 14 kills. LSU hit .254 for the match. OSU lead by Izzy with 11 kills, but as a team they had 19 hitting errors. Vernon and Tkachenko were both struggling.

Izzy looked to me to be the best volleyball player on the court, although her seeing really wasn't that good. She played best in the opposite role. 5'7" just doesn't do it though, despite some pretty good hops.
Neither team really looked to have a really good solution at setter.
I liked the craftiness of Flickinger for LSU. The undersized player was my theme here.

Oregon State reset and cleaned up from yesterdays error prone match to beat Tulane 3-1. Hit .200 for the match led by freshman, Ballioglu with 13 kills and Izzy with 12. Amazing Izzy, had another triple double.

Izzy. I like her.
LSU finishes off the event by sweeping Tulane.
