The Utes are in full rebuild mode. I'm gonna say BYU 3-1, but maybe Beth can work some magic and make he look foolish. Just for fun I voted UU 3-2. BUT...if I were seriously wagering real cash...I would have gone 3-1 BYU. I also think BYU will win in four. My main hesitation is that Utah went five with San Diego at Jenny Craig last Saturday. They looked OK. And Utah played the last two sets without Robinson, who had been their main hitter. Not bad for a rebuilding team!
I don't know if Robinson is still out or if anyone is out for BYU.

I'm generally a fan of Ute volleyball but whenever I watch them their damn fight song always ends up stuck in my head for an inordinate amount of time.

It’s gotta be killing her to not play in this one, what’s wrong with her? I can't remember if they pulled her in the third set @ San Diego w some kind of injury. She didn't play in sets four or five. She had been the hitter they were leaning on (got most of the kills) before then. No one in the match thread seemed to know but we assumed she was injured bc they wouldn't have pulled her otherwise. |
