Rumor was that Dalton transferred because she didn't want to get the COVID vaccination, and WSU was requiring it. Pukis and Williams left because they graduated. you're right, a whole lot of kids transferring out of Pullman recently. And that rumor about Dalton is incorrect I'm not sure that being stuck in Pullman under Covid-restrictions was the most fun thing. |

I'm thinking even diehard Coug VB fans had trouble watching this one. The exciting end of the match coincided with the final minutes of UO/WSU football, which was an incredibly exciting finish. There were probably some WSU VB players who would have preferred to be watching the football game.

But yes, I was tuned into the football game. Glad to read through this and hear the Cougs pulled at list this win out. |

And opp Lusby, and their libero McCombero, and OHs Reagan Cooper to Texas Techand Charity Bradley to Portland, and MB Meyers to TCU . . . They certainly know how to recruit very good players. A lot of kids don’t enjoy Pullman, and with how easy it is to transfer now - they prove they can play in a good conference (or not) and leave to somewhere better, or somewhere where they will be a star. With all of the Coug’s staff being alumni of WSU, they have a huge passion for the Palouse, some players may not be on that same level… and Greeny runs a very disciplined gym and doesn’t hand anything to anyone. Some players just don’t have the backbone or will to work as hard as their staff expects you to. VT makes all the oddest assumptions and rumors about transfers IMO… it’s not that complicated. |
