I'll take Caffey's offense over Bella's block at this point. As long as Caffey can put up an efficient block, we can let our back row pick up the slack. I'd also like to see Parra get more comfortable in the starting line-up. Her blocking against the slide needs A LOT of work (and blocking in general), but she's a great server, helps out in serve-receive, and can be a terminal hitter. And we’re not a great blocking team to begin with so the drop off isn’t that far if at all. I think TX is likely a better blocking team than stats currently show given the competition they've played, but you also don't get a lot of BPS when you aren't giving the other team many chances to like... play a rally lmao. That said -- i would take Caffey. For whatever reason, SKT cannot connect with Bergmark. |

If TX starts against Oklahoma with Madi not on the right, she better be taking the night off bc I CANNOT HANDLE ANY OTHER LINEUP. No more nights off, Oklahoma is the 2021 West Virginia. Win against lower competition in non-con, shoot for 500 In conference and maybe get a bid. They are better than a last years OU team. |

SKT needs to simplify her game a bit I think she was trying to be a little too flashy at times but she pulled it together. I’m glad JE left her in to figure things out!

actually texas tech is good & underrated...hoping to watch them play some well.... if you ignore the loss to oral roberts and going 5 with UTRGV lol One thing about it. The Texas match will be their Super Bowl. It is for all the instate schools, but Texas Tech has a bigger hard on for Texas right now than even A&M does. The double team of leaving them for the SEC and stealing their beloved basketball coach, adding to the dynamics that have always been at play anyway.... Their arena will be rocking. |

Given how good they are in other sports, especially softball and gymnastics, I don't see any reason they can't be excellent in volleyball as well. Maybe we're seeing them on the rise. |

Seemed like she kept wanting to push tempo to the pins in sets 1 and 2, but the hitters couldn't do anything with it. Once she slowed it down and set the ball a little higher, the left pins were hitting more efficiently. And it helped that she and Asjia started connecting better in the 3rd set. I really enjoyed watching her set the bics to Eggleston, especially when Logan had no one blocking her. And please set Caffey more! |
