Subsequent sets found on this channel also I just didn't feel like copy and pasting them all here like I did on the Texas thread

Madi hits OOS much better on the right This. Molly hits the low sharp angle, in-system shot really well, but Kansas was all over that. Other than that, she doesn't have the range/power to be an effective pin hitter. Texas has the privilege to change line up according to what’s working and what’s not. In my opinion, that’s what is going to make them special in December.

well.... if you ignore the loss to oral roberts and going 5 with UTRGV lol One thing about it. The Texas match will be their Super Bowl. It is for all the instate schools, but Texas Tech has a bigger hard on for Texas right now than even A&M does. The double team of leaving them for the SEC and stealing their beloved basketball coach, adding to the dynamics that have always been at play anyway.... Their arena will be rocking. Stupid question: why does everyone have it against Texas?

My takeaway from tonight's match is that noone has yet proven that Texas can be beat. I get that Kansas had "the opportunity" to win the match, but they didn't have the full recipe on hand. Texas still, even with all their struggles - especially in the beginning - proved they are still in charge of their own destinee.
Kansas is very very good. High quality play from nearly every single player on the court tonight. Incredible team effort. But just not enough to prove whatany folks were hoping for. Texas is just too good. And as polished as Kansas looked at times, it's clear that to beat Texas, any te will have to be even more polished. Enough to see their own reflection and theoretically use all 12+ players they then project to beat this professional looking Texas squad.
I would add more detail to my response, but I suppose tonight, I'll leave it up to you to ask about if you have any qualms with what I just wrote.
Sure, I was a little upset there was no upset - but at the same time, this level of volleyball is what I love. Texas is an absolute powerhouse and only Texas will determine their own results - thru their first 16-20 matches, until the rest of the country can get their ducks in a row to really challenge the monarchy.

That’s what happens when you’re the IT girl😮💨💆🏽♀️ I get IT 😂 but it’s kind of petty. It's a fair question. Nebraska and Stanford have had more success winning national championships (as their fans like to remind us constantly), but I don't feel like they get the same level of hate posts. Obviously I'm not an unbiased observer.

Stupid question: why does everyone have it against Texas? As a former big fan of Texas to them more being a team I occasionally root for it’s a combination of things. It’s the attitude. Their players are cocky it’s hard not to be when you are the best and consistently beating the best. The fan base can be obnoxious. I wouldn’t say so much on here but UT can have a god complex. I am not a UT alum nor do I have a vested interest in their other teams outside of volleyball but no other school has their own Network so it can be a bit much. Recruiting, Say what you want about Elliot but they consistently land the top girls they want to play for this school. They pull in tons of talent a few blue bloods of the sport do the same but who are we kidding you’d be jealous too if every year someone got a Mercedes and you got a Honda. History, Texas is a longtime rival of Nebraska who has the largest following in the sport of volleyball and biggest fan base, if you are a rival of the biggest fanbase it’s easy to see why it can seem like there’s a lot of hate. Success, Texas is consistent Volleytalkers like to pretend that Texas always chokes it away but many times they are beat by better teams when in actuality no team over the last decade or so has been as consistent when it comes to regular and post season play. Few schools wouldn’t want Texas success in the sport currently. Stanford, Nebraska and Penn State are the only ones that come to mind otherwise everyone else is playing catch up.
