COL is playing strong and with a lot of confidence this year. They should take it in 4. ASU definitely has a chance, but their pins need to be firing, and that has not always been occurring from match to match.

Colorado won the 1st set 25-18 behind some tough serving (believe Perry alone 3-4 aces), and Hadrych pounding 7 kills.
It's 16-10 CU in the 2nd.
Since midway through the 1st set, the Buffs have been using a 6-2 with Deluzio coming in for OH Hadrych, while Simpson has been coming in for RS Parker.

It’s definitely a weird, modified 6-2 but I actually like it. Still get some of Deluzio’s serve receive and defense. She only sets 2 of the 6 rotations.

CU had 4 hitters hit over .300%!
Hart deserves a PAC player award by now. Hit over .700% with 13 kills today with couple blocks. Hit almost as well against Utah too.
Lexi appears to be back on track after being sick/injured... hitting over .300% on 14 kills and a solo block.
Kuehl and Parker also hit over .400%.

Ya might be hard to give it to Hart with Oregon sweeping Stanford. She will definitely make the all pac 12 team if she keeps it up.

Nice to see CU sweep a Pac-12 team with their best pin really struggling.

I could see Colorado making the tournament.
Illinois and/or Colorado State finishing Top 50 will definitely help. They'll need to pull a couple upsets in the PAC as well, but, they can definitely do that at home. Boulder has been notorious for that.

Obviously early, but Colorado's RPI is currently #21. CSU is #31, Denver #50 and Illinois #53. CU scheduled some teams that should do well in their conferences.
The hybrid 6-2 with Simpson setting 4 rotations and DeLuzio setting 2 rotations is working... and Deluzio stays in for DS too... so she gets decent court time that is valuable to the team. Parker also seems to be getting better on the right.
I think Colorado definitely looks to finish in the Top 5 of PAC if they play like they are now... but every year it seems injuries or personnel issues ruin it.

Colorado is looking really good. Again, not elite Top 10 level or anything ... but very good overall volleyball from all facets (offense, defense, setting, serve/receive). Still see them able to get better with higher potential on offense (especially pins). If that happens, definitely a tourney team and a force in the PAC.
