Some cringeworthy sets, and yet Pepp has terminated to close to 22-24.
Pepp block is suddenly clamping down on Llarenas.

OMG. Did this just end on a rotation error? Stats say team error on the Ammerman serve.
Edit: Bizarre stats, because that was just a really hard kill by Livingston to end the match.

That was messy. BYU pulls it out in the homeland. Bower set a good game.

Really not sure of Pepperdine's thinking here. A change from the veteran setter that the A team hitters practice with every day, near the end of a tight set/match, is a lot to ask the hitters to adjust to. Archer ultimately did ok, but the hitters didn't look very comfortable for quite awhile after the switch.

At the same time, Zelaya was horrible today. Fully believe she was the downfall through sets 1 and 3.

Pepperdine Waves? More like Pepperdine Puddles 😭😭😭😭😭Hmm. Did someone just call your underachieving team the Teddy Bears, and you needed to strike back? 🧐

Did someone just call your underachieving team the Teddy Bears, and you needed to strike back? 🧐 If anyone called them that, it was probably me! I just have really high hopes/expectations for this Pepperdine team and today was such a messy showing. I felt like they could've taken this one.
