Barnes was known for having highly erratic teams at Tulane. Could have really high highs, really low lows. He liked to go 6-2, spread out offenses, and generally good blocking teams but some questionable ball control.
They were very close to an at-large team in 2018. They beat Jordan Thompson once, and needed to do it twice, and just barely came up short the second time around.

VandeWeide went to Iowa bc she wanted to hit and other teams wanted her to be a libero. I'm glad they got her. those other coaches were prob right lol

Feels like the Iowa job will suit him and his system a little better given the caliber of recruit he should hopefully be able to pull in.

Yeah... I don't think Purdue is going to pull this one out.
It is what it is.

wasnt Hudson a really strong passer at Munciana?
(and yes I am very well aware of how different passing is in college)

there's a cool lil DS role that other strong defenders can play When did you see UCLA with a DS and Libero on the floor other than when Campeau came in to serve? No doubt Hinkle is better than Campeau but apparently Campeau’s serves are better than Hinkle’s. Or maybe Hinkle is thriving at Iowa and didn’t at UCLA.

that's a pretty silly challenge. any challenge you're not 110% on that's only going to result in a replay seems very silly.

Iowa players ridiculously pulling for that challenge may end up costing them this game in the end… all out now.

Waste of a challenge especially before a TTO.

No doubt Hinkle is better than Campeau but apparently her serves are better than Hinkle’s. Or maybe Hinkle is thriving at Iowa and didn’t at UCLA. Her freshman year, she was up against Kelli Barry and I think she could've been given more opportunities to work into that role. Her sophomore year, Fleck and McCall came in, but I do think she could've gotten more looks at a DS role if UCLA wasn't running that awful 6-2. It is what it is; Hinkle is closer to home and doing great. I'm happy for her. I think she would've stayed if she'd been given opportunities.
