Big question mark is at the pins for both teams. Is Robinson back for the Utes? Will Jardine play better than she did vs. COL? Which setter gets the start? Utah has a lot of question marks. For Arizona, it's the same 'ol question, will Hodge, Maldonaldo Diaz, and Stubbe play well in the same match. Usually only one seems to play well per games, and that is not enough to beat PAC teams.

This is going on right now and at the bottom of page 3…. Madelyn Robinson is back, so not surprised Utah won set 1 and up 22-18 in set 2. This is a Utah team that went 5 with Purdue on the road.

When will Rubio give Dilara a shot at 6 rotations? We clearly need her passing more than anything. Put her and Sofia at outside and Jaelyn on the right.

Dilara gets 4 kills on 8 swings (1 error) and doesn't even get to play front row again because the 0 for 7 freshman is totally hitting better than her

Apparently Utes don't want to win in 3 sets. Service errors, hitting errors, passing errors all of a sudden. AZ up 23-22 now.

Why is Rumel on the court for Arizona? She does not look ready for this level? she was absolutely incredible in preseason... like genuinely incredible. she hasn't quite been the same since a really bad ankle sprain that happened in practice. she's looked really tentative since. probably a mix of being a freshman and the ankle. but she also needs to talk more on the court. a lot of miscommunications. |
