From MN, but Northwestern alum. If the Gophers would have had a better start to the season, I'd more clearly root for Northwestern knowing that they have an outside chance at the tournament. Not that they were supposed to beat Illinois, but I think in theory, Northwestern is good enough, and that would have been a good non-expected win to boost their tournament chances. If Northwestern would have beat Illinois, I could more clearly root for MN in this matchup. Plot twist: I went to law school at Illinois. Lol. Though I always root for Northwestern and Minnesota over the Illini.

The general pecking order is Northwestern, Minnesota, Illinois. But that's just generally; sometimes it changes. |
