Agreed! Landfair seems like a more natural OPP. Although I’ve heard she has been quite vocal about not wanting to play on the right. So this might be the lineup we see for the season.

Minnesota is not even close to at it’s best if Wenaas is playing RS. I don’t care who you disappoint between Wucherer and Landfair, but you simply can’t force your best all-around player out of her element getting these horrid sets. I vote for Landfair going to the right. Concur

The inexperience at this level shows with some of our first year Gopher players besides the poor play of our experience players. Go figure.

Honestly, I don't understand why Northwestern isn't the Stanford of the Big Ten. Same academics... mindset... etc... Mindset? California has historically been the ideal state for college athletics and Stanford carved its niche as the best academic institution in order to draw recruits. That has never been the case in the Midwest, Northwestern was never able to gain a prestige upper hand because people are less pretentious here.

MN consistently let’s some of the most middle-of-the-road players achieve absurd stat lines against them. The graphic they showed for Dodson in set 1 had her hitting for 5 kills on .083 in her last match 😭

But I do agree that Minnesota makes opposing middles seem like incredible players because teams no that’s how they can beat us.

The main reason Wenaas is on the right, because she can play the best defense out of the three pins in the right back. Or is that incorrect?

Her passing looks tentative and I think that because she seems to be really worried about hitting for good reason. I think her skills in general take a step back if she has to think too much about the hitting change.

Yet another overpass that Husemann can’t finish
Husemann gets second kill on a shot that would have been out 3 0 10 with 5 bl assists NW t o at 6-1
