I think he might be referencing the historic seeding of WCC teams less than this own opinion. BYU regularly gets 11 or 12 seeds when losing one match on the season and the champion has often been unseeded. I'd believe that more if he didn't go on to say he thinks San Diego is rated too high. But mostly it was just his tone. I don't think he was trying to diss the WCC per se, but he obviously didn't agree with USD at #3. Didn't agree, With USD at three. I'm going to turn it into a rap. |

I like the commentators. Feels pretty even between the two teams Well, it's the ESPN announcers rather than the announcers tied to a particular school. Even when commentators are trying to be neutral, when they cover a particular school more than any other they're just naturally going to know more about them, which affects the coverage a bit. And, of course, sometimes they are hired because of their affiliation with a school, and so there's for sure going to be some homerism. But these guys are true professionals. Barnett is frickin' smooth and knowledgeable. They just sound on a different level, frankly. |

I really like Kevin Barnett commentating. He's calling out bad plays without any hesitation and explains why the play didn't work.

I understand the sets to Bergmann are not perfect. But at what point is it her responsibility to try to hit up into the block to reset or aim for the block instead of trying to thunder down a ball that very much looks to be short and inside?
