I like baseball and I follow it and I'm from NYC, and I legitimately do not care. Who watching this match cares? Plz tell me.

All the balls are Bergmann's balls.
I regret the double entendre. It truly is unintended.
Oh FFS, more Judge.
I hope he strikes out looking.
This is going to take forever. Please don't foul off any 2 strike pitches.

62 home runs isn't even a real record. No one watching Louisville-GTech cares about Aaron Judge

They do it everytime Judge comes up to the plate. They've been doing this regardless of programming since he had 60 homers to be 1 from Roger Maris's New York Yankee record. He tied it. Now he's trying to break it.
The thing is, I don't care. Maybe I should. It is historic. But f the Yankees. Seriously.

I don't know who Aaron Judge is and I don't care. If I wanted to see his homerun chase, I'd open up a separate stream on the computer.

I like Judge. I don't want to dislike him. But as usual, ESPN's shoving down my throat their chosen narrative is influencing me.
This is nothing new. ESPN does this crap all the time when they find a narrative they really like.
And it's nothing personal about volleyball. If this was an NFL game determining a playoff position they'd be doing this.

I don't know who Aaron Judge is and I don't care. If I wanted to see his homerun chase, I'd open up a separate stream on the computer. It's more like, this is the price we pay for more exposure for volleyball. ESPN would be doing this regardless of the specific programming going on.

ESPN desperately trying to draw new fans into baseball.

It's like putting a volleyball match on every TV across the country and waiting for a player to get a record-breaking kill. It just doesn't matter to anyone not already watching the game.
