Really glad Sami dressed and has been standing rather sweats on the bench again. Bet she'll be back soon.

I guess Ted is just trying to establish his announcer flair for volleyball, but a block is a stuff down, not a stuff up. Please. I’m willing to sacrifice a lot of things for announcer flair, but Isaac Newton’s law of gravity should be off limits.

Ugh. This match could've been so good with Crenshaw and Endsley healthy. It’s only fair to mention Francis as well. She’s a big step up from both Vicini and Smith. Plus she has more visible fire than the rest of the team combined. I’m not watching the match, but I watched all of the Stanford preseason matches. Francis and firepower are not words I’d use together. I think her height makes her able to see and hit angles that others can’t, but let’s not pretend she’s some all American middle out there right now.

What happened to Endsley? We are already super thin on the pins.

What happened to Endsley? We are already super thin on the pins. Rubin took her out on an overset. Looked like a pretty serious sprain.

Oh dear. Edison's Menlo Park was in New Jersey, not in California. (face palm). *Announcers who have lived in Menlo Park, CA should know that. We had Hewlett and Packard in Palo Alto, and, of course, Linus Pauling.

She’s the one that shows the most emotion on a team full of Marcus Aurelius fanatics. I’ll also say compared to Vicini and Smith she’s Dana Rettke out there on the block and the attack. But no, she’s nowhere close to an AA.

What happened to Endsley? We are already super thin on the pins. Near end of set one, twisted her ankle..and went down. Looks to my non-medical eye as a painful sprain.. On crutches on the sideline.

It’s really cool to see Stanford have a right side led offense
But I still need Baird to hit for better numbers lol
