CAL is due for a win. Will it happen vs. WSU? Possibly. The Bears pushed Stanford in 3 tight sets, and nearly beat a feisty OSU team. Bears middles are making an impact as freshmen, and the pins are improved. Problem is if Grote isn't firing well, CAL struggles to win. The OH's can have good matches, but their hitting efficiency struggles when it matters. WSU is favored, even without a true middle, but CAL has a good chance in this one.
