she played like what, one season? You can’t make any claims about that lmao She had a good VNL 2019, and passed well enough to don the Libero jersey when Mary Lake got deported from Russia if I recall correctly…. plus she had absurd passing numbers for her Italian season jwvolleyShe could’ve absolutely been a good player in this quad.

It was clear that this World Cup was for the starting players to carry the team to victory! All of the comments about different players being on the 14 player roster would have made a difference I do not agree with that, when given a chance Tapp and Stevenson performed as well as others! So what would have changed if others would have been on roster?

Foecke passed a 2.25, 57 GP% in her very first pro season in the Italian league with the second most attempts on her team

She played a half-season, till the pandemic’s breakout Firenze really liked her. They renewed her contract, but she decided to retire.

I saw her quite a bit in the NT gym and a few times overseas. A good first pro season isn't necessarily the norm, but not unheard of either. The obvious question is, where is she now?

Well that was the obvious question, aka damn where's Foecke it would've been great to see her after a few years of pro ball and USA competition. You then responded to that by saying well she wasn't an international level player anyways (whatever that's supposed to mean given some of the performances we see by players all the time). And to answer the obvious question, she chose having a family over playing volleyball.

Of course, there are hundreds of US players that actually play internationally, but bottom line, I'm disagreeing with the implication that Foecke would/could have been in the mix in this quad.
