Every time they mention it’s a rematch from last year’s natty - drink Every time they mention Wisconsin’s streak over Nebraska - husker fans take a drink. Every time they mention #1 Nebraska - badger fans take a drink. Texas gets mentioned. Take a shot. On screen graphic of all the ranked B1G programs. Take 3. Mention the final four in Omaha. Take 2. Cook slams down his clipboard. Huskers drink. Reflection off Kelly’s head blinds the camera. Badgers drink. Coach can’t find the challenge card. Finish your drink. I definitely see what you're saying. Where I think it could get run up is: mentioning of the transfers, the new first place team, if Batenhorst goes off they could mention her game in Austin, anything about attendance. Idk I'm also just so ready for the game to start and need something to distract me so here I am thinking of reasons for something not important LOL. In another hour, you can start fretting about Penn State and Illinois wrapping up their match on time. he won’t be alone!

rewatching the NC match (i think for the first time since last december…) and i’m pretty sure that wisconsin blocked every nebraska ball that was a tight set on the net - which was a lot. we’ll see how much hames and evans can get their hitters some space to work with tonight. when you consider the point differential of the NC, those tight balls really did decide the match.

badger fans, how does GG stack up with barnes? Barnes was a 2nd team All-American. GG is a freshman. Ask again in three years.

badger fans, how does GG stack up with barnes? Early Barnes or late Barnes? Barnes got noticeably better on a number of fronts over time at UW. (I actually thought Barnes initially regressed from her Minnesota form a bit.) Her passing is actually better than early UW Barnes IMO, though she is more prone to reception errors. Her defense can be quite good - but it's not at Barnes level yet. They are still working out responsibilities in the back row. She is a better out of system setter.

Ask again in three years. i was trying to zone in on relative strengths/weaknesses (serve receive, defence, setting, serving, etc). i have no doubt that she'll be better in 3 years, but freshmen and AA can be compared (neb fans have frequently compared stivrins and allick this year).

GG has a opponent Good Pass percentage of 41 % when she serves, Barnes was at 42.3 at the end of the season so slightly better for GG GG passing a 2.09, 47.9 GP%, Barnes was a 2.28, 58.1% so big advantage to Barnes there. That said, GG has already passed more balls than Barnes did all last season lol GG is the better OOS setter. No stat needed for that lol we have eyes(but I do recall the numbers for Wisconsin OH hitting off Barnes being quite poor) GG has 28.4 defensive touch %, 76.9 % dig on those and 65.5 good dig % , Barnes had 28.8 touch % , 80.5 % dig on those and 66.2 good dig %

Lmao why does it matter if Madi Kubik is or isn’t a fan of Wisconsin’s gym? Madi not liking the Wisconsin gym is a personal attack on every person who has ever clapped for the team. And a clear assault on their mothers and dogs as well. That’s why it matters. Please tell me you are joking - Juan Cook

Is Kubik talking about the Field House playing space, or the visiting team locker room and facilities? I've never been there so not sure if this is true but she mentioned that the upper sections are in the dark so it gives a feel like a dungeon. Eh, not so much anymore, not when it’s full.

badger fans, how does GG stack up with barnes? Not a badger fan but from what I’ve seen she has an obvious leg up on Barnes in second ball contact, unfortunately the Libero with the best second touch in the country (in my humble opinion) is her opponent tonight. That aside, she seems to be a solid defender, but not a great passer at all. Barnes was definitely way superior in both of those last season, although she obviously had way more experience so not a great comparison.

Only are few hours to go. One question, is the "W" on Bucky's shirt and that thing he's doing with his hands symbolic of what will happen tonight? Sorry .... W is for whoopsy, another loss
