This was the dumbest decision I have have seen in a match. Cook could have grabbed someone from the front row of either the the west side or north end of the court and found someone better than what Knuckles was giving them for a while. If you don't count the wheelchairs, *I* sit in the first row on the west side of the court! My eligibility ran out 40 some years ago.

Nebraska doesn't have another DS who has passed in a real match aside from Hames if Knuckles is having a bad game now if Cook hadn't fumbled with his scholarships during the offseason that would not be the case Meaning just leaving Knuckles in there is still the best option.

Here is an alternative viewpoint. Ashburn was serving absolute bullets. We have not seen that this year. Knuckles is definitely better than anyone outside of Kubik and Rodrigues for handling those serves.

Oh lookie here. Nebraska pins still can't get it done offensively in big matches.
I couldn't be more surprised

Maisie practices as a DS with Nebraska, meaning she's literally training with the team in serve receive & defence. Only reason I think she wasn't given the nod was subs. Ally comes in for Kenzie when Kenzie rotates to the front row, so giving Ally a chance to pass & play D and then leaving her in when she got to the front row saved Cook a sub.

Congrats Wisconsin! Nebraska was no match for your play tonight. The number 1 team should not be swept at any time. What a disappointment the husker team displayed tonight. Just sad that Nebraska seniors have never beaten Wisconsin.

He did it, I think, in both the second and third sets - I'm sure of the second - at point in the sets when both team had scored enough point on serve that the sub count was no longer an issue. That is, when you're down 17-10 (about the time he did it in the second set), there haven't been many sideouts and rotations. And if you're gonna come back from 17-10 (and they almost did) it's gonna be because of service runs that don't cause sideouts and rotations. Nobody was going to run out of subs in either of those sets.

Only are few hours to go. One question, is the "W" on Bucky's shirt and that thing he's doing with his hands symbolic of what will happen tonight? Sorry .... W is for whoopsy, another loss WRONG!

You know when the serve is good when the crowd reflexively gasps. That happened a lot this night. More than any match I've seen in a long time.

Nine in a row baby!! Nice job Badgers! Walking in towards the Field House, I overheard one group of three or four Husker fans see and 'acknowledge' another group of three or four. And somebody said "tonight's the night we're gonna get them", which was replied to with a "yup"; the word "finally" might have been in there. :-)

Big match coming up. An entirely different proposition. Interested to see how the badger deal with the problems posed by Landfair and the gophers.

So I’m sitting in the field house thinking ok can we just let Izzy run a 5-1 yet? But then I’m thinking well the 6-2 is about to get us a win in this match and tied for the B1G lead so we can’t go away from it , can we? And now I check the stats and see MJ had 9 assists and Smrek only had 1 kill and 0 blocks. So I guess where that leaves me is, did MJ seriously only have 9 assists and Smrek 0 blocks or is sidearm wrong? No joke.
