Kansas City is one game back from a conference tournament spot. Omaha is 1.5 games back from a second consecutive regular-season championship. Both teams have a lot to play for. South Dakota is in very good shape to claim the regular season championship for this year. They would have to lose twice to have a tie with either Omaha or ND State. If they somehow manage to lose two remaining matches, they would still hold the tie breaker over Omaha to host next year's Summit League tournament. For tonight's Omaha vs Kansas City match, it will be interesting to see if Omaha's Freshman MB DeBow is back in the lineup after spraining her ankle a couple of weeks ago. In her absence, former basketball starter, Mariah Murdie has become a very solid backup.

McCormick with a double double: 10 kills, 22 digs and three aces! A couple too many hitting errors and receive errors, though.
Balanced effort for the Mavs, both offensively and defensively. Lots of players with stats.
5 players in double figures for kills, led by Ruch (15) 4 players in double figures for digs Ruch (5), Jurgensmeier (4) and Murdie (3) throwing a block party.
