That was a bit of a meltdown by LMU at the end of the set. From a 22-22 tie, they passed too tight and got the setter in the net, and then set Booth twice with identical stuff blocks by Blackwell and Frohling.
USD gaining steam.

San Diego block ends it, 25-22 San Diego went on a roll there at the end. Down 21-19 and then they took over. Some really great placements which you already pointed out, and then the devastating block. |

Have to say that San Diego isn't exactly impressing me. It's either that, or LMU is actually legit to play in the NCAA tourney True. I'd never try to judge a team based on one game. But yikes. San Diego is making me think they might be an easy out in the tourney. And I live in San Diego. |

I felt the same way watching Texas against Iowa State in Ames.
But San Diego has absolutely been crushing teams prior to this. They just don't look like they're firing on all cylinders tonight. Sometimes you gotta find a way to win when that's happening.
