Jamaica upset Trinidad and Tobago win their first ever senior title at the Caribbean championships. (T&T had won every title since 2006) Mychael Vernon of Oregon State led Jamaica with 26 points. Siena head coach Simone Asque-Favia followed with 11. Krystle Esdelle led T&T with 40... They missed Channon Thompson.  |

Soraya Phomla, the 2nd setter of Thailand NT in the VNL announced that she is pregnant. She also withdrew in the Korean VLeague and will be replaced by Filipino setter Iris Tolenada.

That's practically their team A minus Hattaya and the substitute libero  |

I wasn't expecting Thailand to field their A team in this pocket tournament. Would have been nice to see new faces. |

Following FIVB's calendar changes and the change of the qualification process for WCH, the top 3 from each of this year's continental championships will qualify for WCH 2025, right?
