looks like Netherlands/Dominicana are going to be neck-and-neck heading into the 2023 IOQT's in terms of World Ranking. Netherlands scrapping up a couple points here and there beating up on not-good CEV teams. Germany had a chance to gain some ranking points to get themselves closer to those 2 ^ but with the status of Orthmann, Germany could lose some important ground. Canada and Belgium need to stay as close as possible. Both have chances coming up before IOQT's to at least keep a closer distance within World Ranking. These are really the 5 teams in the race for Paris 2024, but maybe one of them finds a way to steal a spot by finishing top 2 in their IOQT pool. I'm just not seeing how Thailand gets back into serious contention. im fine with that. Thailand have been kind of fun but im over them |

A matter of who you want to see in the Olympics from any of the 5 all-stars from each team: Britt Herbots (BEL) Brenda Castillo (DOM) Nova Marring (NED) Hannah Orthmann (GER) Shannon Winzer (CAN) |

Colombia wins 3-1 over Peru. I think this pretty much guarantees Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina as the 3 CSV teams qualified for the 2025 WCh.

They're up to 38 in the rankings now. They'll jump Korea and Croatia if they beat Cameroon again.

Egypt is getting huge points in CAVB's championships. They're up to 38 in the rankings now. They'll jump Korea and Croatia if they beat Cameroon again. I don't like the Qualification system for African teams. They shouldn't qualify on World Ranking, they should play a continental qualifier. But I overall like the qualification system better this edition, so, I don't want to complain too much. |
