THE DRAFT: The serpentine-style 12-round draft will begin the week of Monday, December 5th. 6-hour time limit between each pick. Please post in this thread who you're drafting or send in your picks via PM if you think or are unable to draft.

1. REMINDERS: You need to draft at least 2 SETTERS / 3 OUTSIDES/OPPOSITES / 2 MIDDLES and 1 LIBERO. Your roster will need to consist of AT LEAST ONE of EACH of the BW/CC/EIVA/MIVA/MPSF. At least one international player will NEED to be in your lineup every week.
2. Listed teams that you can draft from: volleytalk.proboards.com/thread/91281/schedules-2023?page=1&scrollTo=3141837
3. What if the school's website does not list its 2023 roster by the time of the draft and the player has known eligibility left? If that player does not appear on its official 2023 roster by the start of the season, then you will be able to add/drop that player free of charge.
4. There will be no trades this season. So, use the draft and your add/drops wisely.
5. What if I want to draft a S/OPP or MB/OPP? SEE BELOW.

WHAT POSITION WILL THEY PLAY?

1. Players that are listed as S/OPP and MB/OPP, etc. will be designated to the position they played the MOST last year.
2. If a player is not playing the position they played last year, they will then possess that position in weeks 2, 3, etc. For instance, Canyon Tuman played middle last year, so he will be a middle for week 1. If he plays OH/OPP in week 1 then he will be designated as an OH/OPP in week 2.
3. Any questions about a player's position can be asked in this thread or via private message.

LINEUP DEADLINES/REQUIREMENTS:

1. Lineup deadline (PLEASE SEND IT VIA PM): Monday, NOON PST / Missed deadline = ANY position forfeited.
2. Lineup requirements: If you submit a lineup that does not include (2 S, 3 OH/OPP, 2 MB, 1 L / INTERNATIONAL) then you must forfeit that ANY POSITION.

Will this thread be updated as the draft moves forward? So if ITA/USA makes the first selection at 3pm on 12/5, does Fight On have until 9pm to make a selection? Will we be notified of our time starting or we just need to be paying attention? Thanks!

Yes, it will be updated. The draft starts at 2 pm PT so he has until 8 pm PT pm to make a selection. 

If you want to be notified. I figured six hours would be a lot of time to make a pick(s).

Yes, it will be updated. The draft starts at 2 pm PT so he has until 8 pm PT pm to make a selection.

yes that’s plenty of time, but I was wondering if the first selection is made in the first 5 minutes, for instance, does that mean the second pick has 11 hours and 55 mins or does the 6 hour clock start from the time the prior pick is posted. I sleep longer than 6 hours so it can Make a difference lol.

LOL, I confused myself as well. ITA/USA has six hours to make his pick. Like you said the clock starts from the time of the prior pick is posted (via time stamp).
