I thought they had a rather interesting default camera angle for that stream.
And personally, I like the look of that faux wood taraflex floor surrounded by black.
But is it just me, or was there a WHOLE lot of open space around that court (especially on the ends)
maybe it is just the contrast seeing that arena after having watched the MVC tournament matches in the tiny Evansville fieldhouse.

It covers an ice rink, so it’s probably bigger than normal. Also cold, from what I have heard. U. of Iowa's new (in the past couple years) arena has the volleyball court atop an ice rink (at least later in the season, they didn't have the ice down yet when I was there in September). But they have the court pushed to one end (with the other end of the rink curtained off), so it didn't appear quite as cavernous. I believe I remember Iowa having problems during their first season there with moisture condensing on the court once the ice was down. I assume they figured out a way to address that issue, as I haven't heard anything this season |

The arena is a great modern arena for ice hockey, but imo doesn't make for a very good volleyball atmosphere. Not only are the end seats far from the court in the 8,000-seat fascility, but the sides are also farther from the court compared to an arena for basketball. I miss the atmosphere when they played in their old fieldhouse. |
