It’s looking like big 10 conference isn’t the best this year 🐸☕️ Saying this because they don’t have a team in the Final Four is absolutely a stretch. This is a single elimination tournament. This logic would suggest that the ACC is the best (50%) and we all know that outside of the top 2 and a little Georgia Tech, that they’re pretty bad as a whole conference.

Historically speaking, 75% of regional final hosts make the final four. If that holds true, one of the number one teams goes down today. why not both.gif Put this in the “I Called It” Thread. 75% chance of a first ever National Championship for a program!

Just realized that since Wisconsin fell that the Big 10 will not be represented this year in the final four. 😱 Nor will the Pac 12. (nor the SEC, not that anyone other than homers thought they would, but still) Nice!

When Blossom and Gray committed to Penn St., they probably thought they were going to go to Final Fours together - and they are.

It doesn't really matter who has the best conference because it is obvious none of the final four teams are from the best conference but they are all still standing.
Pretty sure they don't hang Banners for 1st place conference
Top the Bottom the Big10 is by far the best conference as I said before it really doesn't matter and probably will continue to be less relevant with the Transfer Portal.

Griping on behalf of our coastal comrades: Why would you schedule the Pacific Time Zone and Central Time Zone teams first on a Thursday night and the Eastern Time Zone teams as the late game? Doesn't make much of a difference for us central time zoners but it seems backwards to me. Am I missing something?

For you volleyball historians out there, have we ever had the regional finals go a combined 19 sets out of a possible 20 (three 5-settters, and one four-setter)?

At least not since the NCAA began sponsoring WVB in 1981

Anyone know who's calling the Final Four matches? Do we get Sunderland and Whittemore?

Anyone know who's calling the Final Four matches? Do we get Sunderland and Whittemore? I remember seeing somewhere that it was going to be Courtney and Holly but don’t remember. Do hope that Paul and Missy get the nod though.
