Georgia is making their 11th NCAA tournament appearance and first since 2019. The Bulldogs are 19-32 (.373) in sets played and reached the Sweet Sixteen in 1985, 1986 and 1993.
Towson is making their 5th NCAA tournament appearance and 4th consecutive. The Tigers are 5-14 (.263) in sets played and won their first round match in 2019.

Gregory is going to be emptier than it usually would be. Not saying it would be a packed house regardless, but I do feel like more Longhorn fans would have been in attendance if it weren't for the huge men's basketball game tipping off at 6pm. I wish things could have been arranged a bit differently, but too many organizations to coordinate.

Somewhat concerned about basketball attendance at the tip-off today. Women’s basketball has the same timing tomorrow. Austin traffic isn’t L.A. traffic as David Hunt has discussed, but it’s a real thing for sure, and so is parking. |
