Arizona State has two less setters - Allie Gray and Ella Snyder And Shannon Shields apparently isn't using her Covid year (she was recognized on senior day Saturday), so unless Shields changed her mind ASU currently has no setters on their roster at the moment. ASU actually has their roster page updated to 2023 and Shields is on there as a Grad Student. Maybe that's why Gray and Snyder left? Andi Kreiling is also missing from the 2023 roster and was just a sophomore this year. |

another B1G player, Kyla Swanson is in as a grad transfer
Kyla's got a lot of upside and seems like an enthusiastic, supportive teammate. She was injured mid-season this year and while out of the lineup, Rylee Hinton snatched that second MB slot and didn't let go, hitting .462 on the year. Otherwise Kyla would've been back in there. Hope she finds a good landing spot!

Also, May Pertofsky and Jess Robinson both grad transfers Robinson will be a good get for whoever lands her. Plz not Texas tho. we should not be going for middle blocker; o'neal's coming back, bergmark, singletary & bunton (+ a walk-on)...phillips can also play mb |

I'll take that bet! As happens each offseason, Texas will lose a few players due to attrition. And, that will allow room for some potential transfer(s). Kahahawai? she's not leaving she should be playing next year...she's going to be a stud for texas |

Stanford’s Selena Xu will be a very nice pick up if she is going to use her 5th/Grad year. i wonder if texas will go after her...we need a seasoned back-up setter but i'm not sure about her level of play (she has not had much court time)...if she enters the portal |

With Dodson (UCLA MB & All-PAC 12 Team) being in the portal and now that Colorado has proven to be a better team lately, maybe she will want to come back home and the Buffs will want her to replace CU's star MB (Hart) since she has used all her eligibility. Seems like a good fit for all involved. You know, those are good points, so unless Dodson is looking for a championship caliber team (no disrespect since CU is very solid), then it does seem like a realistic possibility. According to her UCLA bio, she wants to play professionally, so I guess she would also be looking for a staff she felt could help her develop. |

Of course, never say never, so if any of you Texas Oil Barrons want to talk her out of a high paying job and pony up some $$$, then by all means have at it. |

But I thought Snyder would've been the starting setter next season if Shields wasn't coming back. We'll see about Shields but Snyder leaving would be a big loss for ASU regardless. |

hi. TTA is in the portal. She is a Bio Med Engineering major so I would guess a Purdue or a GT. Dave Shondell is a HUGE TTA fan and supporter. In one of the episodes of the Dig City podcast, (the Purdue Volleyball podcast) he discussed recruiting her at one point and has always wished she chose Purdue. Would be VERY interesting to see if Purdue is on her list or vice versa. |
