Anyone know why Elle Glock is not on the Louisville 2023-2024 roster? IG still has her at Louisville VB #5. she is on the roster. She is now. Thanks to whomever saw my post and took care of that. |

Coming back a little later because I'm only just now catching up on the B1G Media Days pressers. Keegan Cook had the best answer I've heard when asked about the transfer portal.
"There's a responsibility to take care of your athletes when they're with you, and the standard of coaching has never been higher. And I'm okay with that.... You don't just get to coach these people; you have to be continually helping them. You don't just recruit them once, and I keep that in mind when I'm having any interaction with them - that it's a privilege to coach them, and I don't ever want to forget that. And the transfer portal probably lets coaches not forget that more than ever."

Still chuckling at when Sheffield said he doesn't hear / think transfers are doing it for championship pursuit or to win more and then Carter Booth flat out said in her interview "I wanted to go somewhere to win a National Championship" lmao |

Sometimes you just wonder if these coaches really hear themselves at all when they say things like "Take Care of the athletes" and "Not just about Chasing a Championship" It just seems a little hollow coming from a guy who split from his last team for a better opportunity for himself, and the other who is just "that guy".

I don’t think either coach’s comments are hollow or lacking integrity. They can care for the athletes and be invested in their growth while also wanting to succeed on the court and seek the best opportunities for themselves if the occasion arises. |

Sometimes being a good coach is letting your athletes go when there's a situation that's better for them personally, even if it goes against team goals. |
