Central Florida is making their 13th NCAA tournament appearance and 5th consecutive. The Knights are 23-41 (.359) in sets played, winning first round matches in 1997, 2003, 2019 and 2021.
Yale is making their 8th NCAA tournament appearance and first since 2018. The Bulldogs are 9-24 (.273) in sets played, winning first round matches in 2004 and 2008.

It’s not possible for Melville to score ALL of UCF’s points is it? 33.2% on their points on the season. Granted, she was getting subbed out at the end of matches that were blowouts. 40% is probably a good night for her. 50%+ for big tournament wins.

UCF's middles are pretty good offensively too, they got 28 kills in the 5-set win over Houston last Friday. But they definitely aren't shy about setting Melville back row.
