When will we start to see grad transfers enter the portal? The next wave of transfers will be after the regular season (and really most of them won’t occur until after the postseason). Any transfers we see at this point for 2023 will be under very unusual circumstances. I thought graduate students were not under the same rule as regular undergrad transfers. So those who may be seeking a Covid year (the last group of Covid players!) or those who may have graduated in less than 4 years and are going elsewhere for year 4. |

They’re not under any restrictions. But you still don’t see them entering the portal for 2023 right before the season starts, and you don’t see a slew of grad transfers entering the portal mid season for 2024. |

Anyone have an OH they can spare the ILLINI this season? Hayden Kubik? I just don't see how she'll get much court time this year or in the future since Nebraska's recruiting has been lights out. She has the ability though, she flashed some really good things against Creighton last year and she looks good in practice, just not good enough to beat out our other pins. I'd like to see her go somewhere where she can start and have a good career. It'd be an easy connection since Cook and Tamas are still on great terms. |

Seriously though, would love to see Hayden get playing time, though if she likes being at Nebraska, that's important too.

Anyone have an OH they can spare the ILLINI this season? Honestly Texas has a surfeit of pins. I think even the walk on Miller could contribute somewhere. She might not be an All American, but she looks like she could be a starter for sure. And both Kahahawai and Byrd look like they could be stars for most teams. I think Byrd would be conference freshman player of the year in most conferences. |

i highly doubt she cares what you think. you should be more worried about why Wise couldn’t keep a talent like Beason. This is so??? I am kinda disappointed in Beason but it is her life and if she wasn't happy, who can blame her... I wonder how she's going to do going from SEC conference >> Big 10 ? Maybe she wanted more of a challenge... and if Laurenstein is leaving... will that put Beason as a starting role? She didn't pass that much for Florida so I wonder if Cook is going to want to develop her into the 6 rotation passing hitter On top of that, is she going outside or opposite? This is such a .... choice for her Amen from the back row |
