Why broadcasts ever put the score at the top for a volleyball match is beyond me. There's so much empty space at the bottom and the ball doesn't get blocked...

WSU letting a lead slip. Were up by 6, and UNLV has cut it to two. WSU up 17-15, t/o.

Great finish by WSU in set two, 25-19. WSU still led by Timmer with 9 kills. Jansen and Ryan each with 7. Cougs hit .379 that set.

WSU gets the sweep, 25-18 in the 3rd. A PAC team has advanced to the next round. Great playing Cougs! Led by Timmer with 14 kills and Jansen with 11 kills.

Deja vu. WSU had a lead in the 3rd, and letting it slip again. Still up 19-16, t/o. But they turned on the gas with a couple of monster kills from Jansen and got three back immediately. And they just closed out the Runnin' Rebels with a block. |

UNLV had some solid players. What I noticed though is they struggle on reading kills and digging balls and serve receive was sometimes a struggle. Good season for them this year though.

Solid win for WSU and way to play themselves into tournament mode. UNLV had some great moments but WSU was just too physical for them in the end.

Wow thought this game would get more love on VT There was a brief moment of drama in the first set but not enough to get people to tolerate the hazy picture quality. |

Definitely the biggest shocker for me today. By far.
Really thought UNLV would win but it wasn't even close.
