Tough first round match, but let's go Ducks! Start strong and take care of our side of the net!

I think it might be a battle but hopefully Oregon starts strong and gets some good blocks/block touches early.

LMU has a couple of weapons, and Ducks will need to set away from Kari particularly, but the Ducks are too solid all over to let this one slip past them. LMU is capable of taking a set and pushing them though.

Oregon is making their 19th NCAA tournament appearance and 3rd consecutive. The Ducks are 71-68 (.511) in sets played, finishing Runner Up in 2012; in the Elite Eight in 2018; 5 Sweet Sixteens (1984, 2007, 2008, 2014, 2020-21 Spring).
Loyola Marymount is making their 15th NCAA tournament appearance and first since 2018. The Lions are 32-48 (.400) in sets played, reaching 3 Sweet Sixteens (1986, 1996, 2015).

Who do we think gets the start at M2? I think Neal over Robey, only because of the blocking. Otherwise I think the lineup is the same, although I wouldn’t be surprised to see Lewis in for Mutiri at some point for the added block height.

LMU is definitely a very strong first round opponent for a seeded team. Swept UCLA this year, two 3-1 wins over Pepperdine and went to 5 both times with San Diego. Go Ducks! Come out strong!!

My Oregon Reaching the Final Four agenda does not need any scares or surprises.
if you wanna drop a set go ahead, but finish this quickly
