Rehr was incredibly gracious in the post-game interview. I'm a Houston fan now! ... gross. Ugh. Why gross? Not understanding the joke here. Well, we don't exactly live in a tourist destination.

Also, my brother used to live there and hated it and my ex went to Rice. Too much personal history for me too Also not at all a humidity person.

Was it a knee or ankle injury? The announcer kept saying knee but it looked like her ankle was wrapped. I hope it was an ankle.

When I watched it live I was thinking knee the whole way just from the way she landed and then hit the ground. But I didn't rewind it or anything. It looked terrible right away.

I just assumed (probably incorrectly), given that I read a few comments in the past week how some couldn't pull themselves to root for Houston.

Hard for me to believe this is Houston's first NCAA tournament win since 1994, the Elite Eight run in the glory days of Lilly Denoon Chester. Wow it's been a long wait. Finally got a great coach. Just need to keep him. Fertitta needs to open up the wallet for volleyball to take on all comers. Volleyball could easily be a signature sport for UH. Agreed, they need to do whatever it takes to build a fence around Rehr's office and keep him for the move to Big 12. Assuming they can keep him, however, UH stands to lose a great deal to graduation, so next year will be interesting roster-wise.

Who's the announcer pair for this one? Donny Baarnes (PbP), Shannon Smolinski (analyst) - the Creighton radio duo - with Ana Bellinghausen (sideline) Edit and apology - PbP was Jake Ryan, not Donny Baarnes. Ryan, like Baarnes, is a regular Creighton announcer. Hats off to both teams for a thrilling match. Feel for Yotes and Juhnke. Yotes ultimately win with a healthy Juhnke.

Wow. What an ending to an amazing season. First, Juhnke, playing out of her mind, takes the Yotes on her back to a Regular season title, then tournament title, then a program first set win in the dance. She gave so much that she broke.
And then her teammates went ahead and won one more for her.
Tears were shed by all. Leanne is a great leader and "mamma bear" as the announcers said. They don't go on that run without her keeping it all together.
Houston players and coaches, Creighton hosting and the announcers - all first-class. Wow.
