I mentioned this prior to the season starting but I thought that summers blocking (or lack there of) would make or break how good Washington would be this year. What surprised me was that Grote didn’t pick up her blocking skills.
Injuries notwithstanding, the husky block is the #1 reason for our lackluster season performance this season.

Oh. TCU wins on a huskie service error.
The announcers have no idea what they are saying. Both are at large bids. I was on the fence about who would win this.

Disappointing game by the Huskies today losing 1-3, and particularly by Hoffman in her last collegiate match, hitting only .059. As we know when Claire struggles, UW struggles. Nice for them to make the tourney with all their adversity this season. Going to be an interesting year next year with the loss of the seniors.

UW gonna have a hard time the next couple years with so many key players leaving.
Glad Grote and EMP can finally move on, hopefully to bigger things.

Not the way any of the UW seniors wanted to see their UW careers end....especially EMP.
Nalls and TCU won the match at the net.

it’s just college volleyball. This is not the energy you brought to Nebraska's seeding. Well I still have opinions, rainbow asked how I was “feeling”. I am emotionally indifferent about most things. For example, you’d never see me in some mob on the street celebrating some big win, that is just idiotic. |

Gosh, Washington always plays with little emotion.. team chemistry and leadership really seems to be lacking… all that talent and they are out in the first round..

Nalls was virtually unstoppable and Adams and Gibson provided enough threat to free her up. TCU is a different team than the one the badgers faced early in the year. So are the badgers. Will be a different match.

I have not seen TCU play before today and was very impressed with them. Their setter was able to get the hitters good looks, even when she was running halfway through the gym.
Nalls had a great match.
