So far, I’ve been unsuccessful getting tickets to this game. It is very disappointing. I was on the site at 10:02 after U of L’s site buffered for two minutes when I refreshed at 10. Where did these tickets go that fast? Also, 4 teams (fairly regional) fighting for 1,100 seating capacity? UNACCEPTABLE. How are they allowed to host in this crackerjack box of a facility? I thought there was a capacity requirement for hosting.

Yes it is a shame they didn't move it to the Yum Center or another bigger venue.  Basically playing in a HS gym.

Yup.  That's some cheap-ass BS from Louisville.  DBK said she was thrilled to host the first 4 rounds, but they don't want to pay for doing it right.

Purdue is making their 24th NCAA tournament appearance and 8th consecutive. The Boilermakers are 121-95 (.560) in sets played, making 5 Elite Eights (1982, 2010, 2013, 2020-21 Spring, 2021) and 10 Sweet Sixteens (1981, 1983, 1985, 1987, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2011, 2012, 2019).

Tennessee is making their 17th NCAA tournament appearance and 2nd consecutive. The Volunteers are 60-63 (.488) in sets played, making the Final Four in 2005 and 4 Sweet Sixteens (1982, 1983, 1984, 2004).

I don't blame Louisville for not moving to bigger gym because home court advantage is also your own facilities and locker room and the familiarity of it all. But I wish they would sell tickets separately for the games today so any TN/Purdue or just volleyball fan in general could at least watch the first game if they wanted to!
