It's funny bc Purdue's "best" is better than Tennessee's "best", but I feel like TN plays at their best twice as often as Purdue does lmao. So let's just see wtf happens now. Didn’t Tennessee beat like zero teams in the tourney. Their “best” can’t be that good can it? Good enough to win 25-14. I don't think any team beats any other tourney team if they don't pass well while the other team is clicking. |

I think Tennessee has a very high ceiling. They've struggled with injuries all season, and they do tend to play a bit up and down.
Perhaps these are two very streaky/inconsistent teams.
I was basing it off of the fact that TN won 25-14 while purdue passed like they'd never seen a volleyball. purdue won S2 25-14 but TN didn't necessarily play badly. I'm not at all saying purdue is the btter team, they just seem to have a higher ceiling. But if they never play like it, who cares? |

They beat these tourney teams: Loyola Chicago LSU x 2 Georgia Yikes. Yikes is losing 14-25 to a team with only these wins in the first set, you're right. |

Nothing on Tennessee’s resume indicates to me that they can beat a top 25 quality team on a neutral site in a best of 5 match. But maybe they can reach another level today, seems unlikely though. |

Yeah it was weird bc the passing was pretty good in S2 too IIRC. |

If you watched them this season, and weren't just desperate to take cheap shots because you're upset posters were rooting for them in set 1, you might know that.
