Obviously Baylor is the more talented team, but Rice is such a dangerous opponent for the Bears. It's a #4 versus #5. I won't be watching it live, but I'll be checking scores regularly.

Why is Rice so dangerous? Baylor’s already swept them. You should know. They already beat your team. They have a number of good pieces with one of the best setters in the country. Baylor is an extremely good serving team, so if they're on point there the way they were in the first match it will be tough for Rice to keep up, because they don't have the blocks or digs that Baylor does. But if they can score in transition because Baylor doesn't put enough pressure on them, Rice can come away with the win in Waco, even if Baylor swept them in Houston earlier this year. |

If Rice plays like they did the first two sets vs. COL, Baylor will win, but if Rice brings out their strong defensive skills, they have a chance to take this in a long match.
