Can both teams win?

This will be interesting. Not sure if Marquette has played enough tough matches to prepare them for a squad that regularly goes up against Pittsburgh and Louisville. I wish Marquette and Creighton had more challenges in the BEast other than each other.

As much as I am don't put Lavagirl on a pedestal... it's obvious that other teams have not been able to readily shutdown her down and she lowkey is the offense of this team. I think that GA Tech just needs to play the volleyball they've always played... put OHs + middles in good spots and it should be an sweep or 4 sets

As much as I want Marquette to advance to the Sweet 16 (for what I think might be the first time ever), I think Georgia Tech takes this one. I just don't see Marquette being able to serve tough enough to keep the ball from GT's middles, and with Lavagirl being Lavagirl... I think the Golden Eagles have an uphill battle.

Marquette made the Sweet 16 in 2018.

I think Marquette can pull this off, They have so many weapons and anyone can get going for a big night. Marquette goes middle a lot so if the passing is there I expect Anchante to also get the most out of her middles. Bergman is going to get her kills, but if Marquette can slow down the other weapons they have a shot! idk why everyone’s counting them out… they beat Kentucky in Lexington, and nearly went up 2-1 on Wisconsin in Madison. it’s a team that can hang with the best. and they are at home, where they seem to play at their best. I think they are undefeated there no?! plus georgia tech does not have yadhira anchante dishing butter 🧈 🤌

She’s the most unbelievable one player difference maker I’ve seen in college. That team is trash without her. I realize she doesn’t always hit .400, but her ability to turn trash into treasure over and over again is unbelievable to me. Plus she’s an asset on defense.

D’Amico vs Anchante might be the biggest blowout in setter vs setter history… and yet I still picked Georgia Tech to win this game. Go Fighting Bergmanns!!

Go Fighting Bergmanns!! someone didn’t watch blossom vs Podraza 😳 Podraza is actually decent… D’Amico… well uhh… she has hands! Two of them! Her and I don’t look too different setting and let me tell you, that’s not a good thing.

Like we get it, there aren't many elite setters in the NCAA right now. 🙄â˜

Good thing Marquette’s biggest strength is their middles.
