I don’t think a coach should ever burn their last challenge on a touch call unless it’s set or match point or a very critical situation. The cameras are just not there for clear touch calls.
I’m begging someone to run a challenge/TO clinic at AVCA for these poor coaches who somehow never are able to figure it out.

It's not about one conference or the other in WVB it's that it is getting to parity. Creighton and Marquette are competitive with the top teams to start the year and with each other in conference. But those two always suffer in the NCAAs due to weaker (as do other non-majors) due to weaker Conference matchups. Parity is catching up which is great for women's sports.
