The "Points" stat is... kind of pointless. It depends on how many sets they've played. ...and it looks to me like OSU has played four more sets than the Gophers. OSU 110 sets Minnesota 106 sets PPS OSU 17.49 MN 17.47 |

Not sure where to post this since I canāt find an active Ohio State team thread, butā You hear a lot about Londot being the best player on the courtāeither for her own team when sheās on, or for the opposing team when sheās off. How good would she be if, when she had an off night, she was just playing good to ok? Would she be a NPOY candidate? You didn't search very hard did you? THE Ohio State 2022 ThreadBut to answer your question... no idea. Londot seems to make absurdly difficult hits look routine while just absolutely scuffling routine chances. If she started to consistently bury the routine, she might be in the NPOY stratosphere, but would she maintain the absurd? She can finish off-balance better than just about anyone, but is that off-balance caused by poor service or because her approach is all wonky? If it is the former, then you'd expect some regression to the mean and a strong overall campaign. If it is the latter, it would explain why she has such a high error rate on what most would consider high-percentage swings. She's sorta like a gun-slinging QB... could be awesome when it has no chance to be, but when it is 3rd and 3 and you just need to hit the damn TE in the flat for the easy conversion, you can't do it. |

All the matches are being broadcast on espn+ as well. Thats $10/month, way cheaper than sling. Yep, but there's a catch (unless I'm missing something). I got ESPN+ for the opening weekend, thinking I'd be good for the entire tournament. ESPN+ carries all sorts of content - all of it specifically marked ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, ESPN U, ESPN+, etc. All the VB matches last weekend were marked ESPN+.
If you buy an ESPN+ subscription you technically only have access to content marked ESPN+, ESPN3, and sometimes content on ESPN Spanish language streams. To have access to ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU content (where all the VB will be from here on out) on the ESPN streaming app when you buy an ESPN+ subscription, you have to have a cable package that includes ESPN/2.
It doesn't make sense, but I guess it encourages people to not drop their cable packages. I'd pay $15-20 for a month for an ESPN streaming package that included everything.
If I'm totally wrong and there's a way to watch everything with my ESPN+ subscription - but no cable package with ESPN - I'd be more than happy to be wrong. Lol.
I'm watching Oregon vs Nebraska and I don't have any bonus subscriptions, just ESPN+. I just had to select the ESPN+ listing of the potential options. |
