I can sympathize with those fans who will have a difficult time watching such an early match. On the other hand, I'm sure the East coast fans have hated it all these decades when a match in the Pacific Time zone tips off at 11 PM Eastern time. Guess what? It's the world we live in. You don’t think coaches and players hate this at least as much? Well, I'm sure they do. If you asked Ulmer in an interview, his reply to the public would be that he understands as everyone is trying to grow the sport. And, they'll play anyone anywhere. The players of course don't like waking up that early. But, if you explain to them that this timeslot was pre-selected for TV and allows their family and friends who can't attend the match in person to watch the match from home, they might have a different perspective.

As a very much NOT a morning person, IMO an 8 AM Pacific start time for Oregon is just cruel. im sure they immediately have started trying to adjust sleep schedules while still in Eugene but that is brutal lol

I'm excited for all of the B1G fans who don't watch PAC volleyball to see the best OH duo in the country.

im going with oregon. but then again, last year nebraska randomly decided to start scoring the ball against texas so who knows
Batenhorst decides this match imo. oregon is going to go after her hard so her handling of that might be the deal or no deal for the huskers lol

When I looked after they won their match, it listed a 4pm est start to the match. NCAA definitely seems to have a hard-on to messing with the Ducks this post season. Not only by changing this is a crazy early start for them, but also giving the lower ranked Arkansas team an easier match-up than Oregon in Oregons own sub-regional. I honestly feel like they purposefully made Oregon the 3 seed so that if something insane happened and Louisville lost, then chances were that it would go to Nebraska instead of Oregon.
That said, if last weekend showed us anything, Nebraska is incredibly beatable. This is probably the weakest Nebraska team in a long time, esp since they lost Nukles. On the flip side, Oregon has struggled at times this season, most notably their 3 match losing streak, but that was without Pukis. That said, since Pukis came back, we haven't lost a match. Also, while we've struggled at times, we've found ways to come back, even in that 3 match stretch, 2 of those losses were in 5, and one of which we were down like 10pts in the 5th and only lost by 3.
Oregon just doesn't give up. So to the person that thinks that Nebraska can break Oregon, that's just not going to happen. And if I were to make a prediction from what I saw last weekend, Oregon 3-1. And that's giving Nebraska set 1.

Can a person watch replays of the game on ESPN plus? The ESPN channels will carry the matches and they’ll be simultaneously available on ESPN+ through their streaming platform.

Just chiming in to "participate" and optimize my thread lurking. Got nothing of substance to add to the convo but enjoy reading, nonetheless : )

I honestly don't feature Nebraska to make it out of this one. It was going to be tough with Knuckles, and without her I just don't know if they've got the setting to get the ball down against Oregon. Of course, if Whit, Ally, and Linda all have good matches, we can do anything. But how many times has that happened?
Also, it's like some of y'all have never watched the Sweet 16 before. There's ALWAYS a match that starts at like, 2am for someone.

I’d take Oregon’s outsides over both of those teams.
