I believe we should have another roster addition announced soon. Middle? Passing OH?

I will say that Litzau leaving WSU is surprising. That team returned a lot of talent and the AAC isn’t as strong with UCF out of the picture. Seemed like a golden opportunity for Kayce to have a strong final year with an NCAA tournament appearance with the team she has led for a number of years now.

Probably, though Litzau is capable of running a 5-1 Just a thought since Molly and Kayce are both under 6', neither is likely a big blocking threat.

She's a grad transfer and looks like a very good student. Probably got into a masters program at UW.

OH that can pass is the crux of running a 6-2 tho. don't know if we have two solid 6ro outsides...

I'm going to have to assume that - quietly, behind the scenes, out of the glare of the media spotlight - the UW coaching crew is putting together a blockbuster roster that will leave the rest of the pack eating dust. Seems logical. Right? (And by "pack" I mean the SoCal-abandoned and deteriorating PAC 1210 conference.) I am going to assume that when I drive home tonight, 405 will be empty and I will not get slowed down by traffic the least bit. Good one MG!

Bajema’s team Vakifbank just won CEV.
She didn’t have her best match but she started and played the whole match.
I believe she’s the first UW player to win a CEV title.

Good for Kara to keep representing Washington, hope to see her as an Olympian soon

for the 2023 schedule so far we have:
UTEP, Grambling State, Southern Louisiana, LBSU, Indiana
We knew Washington wouldn't want to expose themselves to too many losses given the graduation losses, and so far this season reflects that. Thankfully none of these teams had losing records in 2022 and probably won't have terrible records in 2023. Even Indiana may be improved over last season. I think the staff knows they aren't sound enough to compete for a top 16 seed, so the goal is to make the tournament. That means having a high non-conference win/loss, not having too many non-conference opponents with poor records, not taking losses to the bottom 3rd of the Pac-12 (Cal, OSU, Utah, ASU), and going about .500 with the middle of the Pac-12 (Arizona, UCLA, USC). I believe we are skipping the Bay Area schools this year.
