I don't know if Hagglund was "underappreciated". I thought she was very good, and I don't remember too many other people disagreeing. She was on the USA national team for a little while.
I just Googled her, and she's now "Brand Director, Bounce" for Proctor and Gamble. She picked up an MBA after her volleyball playing days.

I think she may have been overshadowed/overlooked a bit, particularly outside the UW/PAC circles. I was a big fan, for sure.

She has an adorable husband and child and living her best life.

I remember an interview CT did shortly after the '05 title match when she said one of her ambitions was to become a university athletic director. I have no idea if that's still an interest. I also don't know the typical ideal resume for acquiring the position, other than you better be able to manage down and up and raise money and keep a lot of people happy while having your coaches do a lot of winning. Off the top of my head, I can't name any VB coach who became an AD, but there may be some. I can think of 2. Lisa Love from a while ago and Chuck Rey very recently. Julie Hermann.

It's sort of amazing that three members of one staff all were named head coaches in such short order. I know Cook was already a head coach, so not a surprise, but still.

If no one is transferring out from the current roster, we should have 2 scholarships to spare for the 2023 season. Unfortunately, I believe we can only offer players with one year of eligibility left.
Among the ones still in the portal, what's your wish list?

I hate how awfully quiet it is lol I hope Tui is working hard to convince Tama to be one of the ACs and talking to some high profile grad transfers in the portal.

Lydia Grote would be too perfect of a fit. Someone tell me they heard something.

Still all quiet on the Washington front. With Leslie's long UW ties, I wouldn't be surprised to see her bring in UW coaches/players she has worked with in the past as assistants. Who is still or was recently coaching? Sanja, Tama, Krista, Courtney. Anyone else?

After leaving Stanford, not real sure if Courtney wants to get back into college coaching.

I’ve read through this thread 3 times trying to figure out what TTA stands for and it’s still whooping my a**. Who is that?? 😭 And I just know I’m gonna feel so stupid once I realize who it is I know, but only because I went and dug it up. Before, I was clueless.

Yeah, I know a few people in biomedical engineering in the Seattle area. Mostly on the mechanical engineering side of that rather than the biology side.
