I hope so. she looks very comfortable when she's in the front row so its clear she's been taking swinging in practice. but dbk said she won't be at 100% this season, and a non 100% debeer is really not far ahead of a 100% mbonu. I guess it depends what % debeer is actually at lol The fact that DeBeer gets subbed in early whenever they really need a SO to stop a run and left in late when they needed to finish the 3rd tells me that it's more about keeping DeBeer rested. I agree im just a worst case scenario kind of guy lol. but im really happy that mbonu got extensive time against some high level teams, that is a very nice option if things aren't going well for any of the 3 pins (mbonu is great from the right side too). I just think deer and chaussee compliment each other better and both hit with more range than mbonu. both of them staying in allows for more freedom with a strong serve sub or even Bartlett to come off the bench if more ball control is needed. but to my point, mbonu could be a match saving player off th bench for this team if they make a deep run

We've seen Aiko have days where it just doesn't work out and Mbonu should have even more confidence filling in if needed now.

yeah I wonder how liberal Louisville would be putting in Mbonu on the right if Aiko is having one of her off days. it’s not something she usually works through. a little like Londot. either an incredible asset for your team or the other

She honestly might be the most underrated blocker in the country just because she’s not a middle. Her serve is wicked too which you said.

Louisville fans: Is Nina Moorer expected to see the court in her future at UL? She played in the Houston Skyline program with Dacosta, Sczech, and Keene of Baylor. She also comes from the same high school as Fields, Rutherford, McCardell, etc. where she was actually named setter of the year in her senior season.
I’m not sure her offense is advanced enough but her serve receive and defense has always stood out. What’s the future pin situation looking like at UL?

What’s the future pin situation looking like at UL? she has a legit shot next year barring a really good transfer. chausse is out of eligibility and mbonu is not taking her covid year, debeer, jones, moorer, and Sydni are the only returning pins along with incoming freshman. aiko and Sydni won't play OH, so it looks like moorer or a freshman will take that spot. as a fan, im hoping for a top transfer OH but idk how good moorer is

I hope Louisville fans show out for their game! Looks like they did last year around a similar time.

Aiko needs to be more consistent for Louisville to have a deep run in the Tournament.

Aiko needs to be more consistent for Louisville to have a deep run in the Tournament. aiko can take over matches. if she shows up and debeer and chausse are playing on par with their regular selves, idk who's gonna beat them lol

Anyone can beat anyone on any day if they get the wrong combination of if's.

What if the Baylor middles each have double digit kills and hit over .500? What else would need to happen for Baylor to win?

IF all those 'ifs' are true you are probably looking at a decisive sweep - and an extremely mad DBK lol

Any combination of good things for Baylor and bad things for Louisville could result in a Baylor win. It's post-season, anything can happen. I'm rooting for Louisville, but I don't think they're invincible.
